Here’s the story. We have nothing against nuts.  We just don’t use them.  People with nut allergies deserve to eat great chocolate just like the rest of us!

In all seriousness, nut allergies prevent chocolate lovers from enjoying the dizzying array of delicacies available in many candy shops today because nuts are used in those kitchens.  Our kitchens are completely nut-free.

No Nuts About It! is a labor of love.  When a close friend realized her toddler had a severe nut allergy, she lamented that not only would she would have to cut back on the chocolates she dearly enjoyed for fear of causing a reaction in her son, but everyone around her would have to make adjustments as well.

It was her dilemma that prompted us to search for chocolate and candy that was completely nut-free.  The prospects were slim and the chocolate wasn’t that great either.  So we started making our own chocolates and confections.  Soon we were taking orders and we haven’t stopped since.
